Strange week

Monday 18^th February 2008

Today there was teachers' strike, almost nobody went to class, we had to postpone an exam of language for lack of students.

Tuesday 19^th February 2008

Today we were in the workshop of technology doing a cooling fan, later the half of the class went to the laboratory to do a practice of biology with a pork's kidney. We had an exam of mathematics that was difficult enough and in geography we had to deliver a few maps but almost nobody brought them and they gave us up to tomorrow to deliver them.

Wednesday 20^th February 2008

Today at third hour we had an exam of lexicon and spelling of language … In geography delivered the maps and put date for the exam, then we had French and let's sense beforehand a work on a 'genealogical tree ' of our family and at the last moment if we had the art's teacher didn't come.

Thursday 21^st February 2008

In the first hour, in mathematics, we were correcting the exam that we did yesterday , moderately well, it wasn’t bad. The teacher of art wasn’t come and we advance biology at third hour and to last we could go away before.

Friday 22^nd February 2008

Today also there was teachers' strike, and nothing happened because only we had class in the first hour of physics and chemistry, wasn’t anybody to class.

Today was a funny day, we haven't got any exam, in P.E we played badminton I think that it was funniest of the day. Today was the birthday of Raquel she was very happy.

Today we have two exams a test in Tecno and an exam of Maths quite easy, in Religion we were watching a very bored movie, the characters were doing of plasticine.

Today we have class the three first hours, and then we did a demostration against the war, we walked around Guía with other institutes. When we stayed at the square of Guía we saw a performance about the war with irony, the performance was interesting but the weather was very sunny and hot, this was the problem.

Today was a normal day today didn’t happen anything special, we had Maths and the teacher correct our files, in Art we were painting, it was very cool, and in Biology the teacher said that in two weeks more or less we’ll start to work with kidneys of pigs, is very cruel.

Today we had a lot of homeworks of Maths and we started to correct, and in Fisic we started to study the periodic table, is quite difficult, and we had a talk about the life together in a class. A group of eleven persons of the R.E.S.C in the institute of Guía went to Vecindario today to a talk with other people.

Carnival week

The week of Carnival * In this week we had two days only class: Thursday 7 February: On the first period we had Math. It was good. On the second period we went to religion but some people missing the class. On the third period we had art, but the class was very bad because some people were speaking while the teacher was speaking. Then we had the break and we ate and spoke. On the fourth period we had English whit our teacher/tutor it was really good class because all was in silence. After we had Spanish lesson, it was really bad and finally we had science and this day we had an exam of that, I think that everybody pass the exam.Friday 8 February: This day was the best, because we had class three hours only and then we had a party of carnival and some class singed in group. It was very funny. On the first period we had F&Q lesson , it was very bored. On the second period we had Spanish and then on the third period we had an exam of English it was very easy but some people did really bad. So, finally we had the party of Carnival and the people singed much. It was really funny but our class didn’t sing.

Every year people celebrate today for the same reason: St. Vallantine's day. But February 14th helds another very important anniversary; in 14 February, 1876, Alexander Graham Bell registered a revolutinary invention: The telephone

From old telephones to our model cell phones, telephones have been helping us to communicate with people for 131 years now. And it is a perfect way to say "I love you" for St Valentine's too!!

Our New Project

After a small break for Carnivals, here we are again. This is going to be our new Technology project: building a cooling fan using reclycled plastics.
