This week, we have a geography test from Friday.
On Wednesday, Alan simulated that he was a waiter and we could practice a dialogue with a “waiter” on biology class.
On Thursday, half the class went to the cinema on 7 Palmas and the other half, we have class, but the Mila and Locadia’s group didn’t have Spanish class, because Mila go to the cinema and Locadia was missing.
On religion class we watched the end of the film “Little Miss sunshine”. It was very funny! We like this so much!
On sport class we played at the brilé and we played hide-and-seek. It was so funny!

The exams¡
- We have got a lot of exams, tomorrow the spanish group of Leocadia have one and on thursday we've got one of science. We finish the month whith an exam of Spanish for all.

The day 20 of October we have a exam of Maths be easy of estadistical.
The day 26 of October we have the reunion for go in winnter to the Pyrenees. We have a magazine with things to sell to get some money for the trip. The trip departs 600 euros and It is very expensive.
The Wednesday 28 of October we will go to the theater to see a literary play. The play of Theatre is `La vida es sueño´.
At the end of the month of October we have a test to the book `Lazarillo de Tormes´.

First post by several authors
Welcome!
This the first post of the year.
We are 3ºB of Sta. Mª de Guía. We are a bilingual group with about 30 people in the class.
The scool year began on the 15th of September.This year is different because there is a new Technology teacher and new subjects (Physical and Chemistry, Classical Culture and Biology) This year we are separate at Maths, Spanish Language and Arts lessons . We think that it is OK.
The first week of the year was very fast. The new professors are very good. We´ve got homework (the first of the year) and we aren´t very tidy. The best teacher for some of us is Luis of PE. In winter we are going to the Pirineos to ski. Luis gave us the catalogue for the travel to the Pirineos.
Last Monday, 28th September 2009, we voted the class delegate. He is Edgar.
Today we met Alan. He is an Australian teacher and he lives in Sidney. He likes the water sports and his favourite Spanish food is paella.

On Monday, Carolina (Biology teacher) gave us the mark of the exam. And then didn’t pass anything important.
On Tuesday, we had the book’s exam. It was some difficult because we didn’t finish the book and the phonetic translation was very difficult. We haven’t had that kind of exam.
On Wednesday, we had two exams, the Spanish exam and the French exam. They weren’t difficult. The biology teacher gave us the exam to see the mistakes. Pedro was penalized by the geography teacher.
On Thursday, we had the Geography exam, about the state and its organization.
On Friday, we had the math exam; we gave in the English teacher our glossaries. In P.E. we played football, volleyball, basketball… In technology, we were finishing the cucabot.

The last moments!
This week is one of the last of the year, so it has been more stressing and shorter. Every week happens hardly ever the same, so we´re going to tell you the most outstanding:
On Monday, at Biology we learnt the correct use of the contraception methods and we could see them too. At Geography, we had a test: it was easy!. At Religion, we finished to watch the film “Camino”, it was very tragic.
On Tuesday in the first period we had physical education. We played
volleyball and there was a problem because a ball went to another
field and teacher got angry with some guys. We couldn’t see some
exhibition of English work because the computer to broke out. Then in
the last period we had a yearbook photo and finally we had in the last
hour technology and we started to make our cars that is our last
project in this year.
On Wednesday, at Biology we made a test about the reproduction. At French, we listened the Kate Ryan´s song and we had to complete the empty spaces. It was very funny and we song too!
On Thursday, at Religion we passed a questionnaire about the functioning of the school. At Fisique and Chemistry, we made a test about the periodic chart. At English, Almudena presented his story of his life: it was really good, she was very nice!
On Friday, at English Raquel and Octavio presented his web page project: it was very good! At P.E., we were running all the time. It was very hot and we were very tired. After that, Nora had to go away in the ambulance due to the weariness, but don´t worry: now she´s much better! At Technology, the majority continued working with the car´s project and some of us were very worried and we decided not to do anything: it was a badly day!

Hello classmates and teachers.I´m going to speak about this week:
On Monday in the second hour we could see the exhibition of some works to finish the exhibition of the works. Some of my favorite works was that of Nora and Yanira because it had a lot of information and it was of the contraceptive methods. After the break we had Technology in the computers. In the computers we were using the cocodrile, is a program to do electrical circuits. At the last hour we had Religion and we saw a movie, Camino.
On Tuesday in the first hour, we had physical education. In physical education this quarter we are going to give volleyball. In the second hour there was English and we had not unfolded because, we are doing the presentations of the Story of my life yet. We haven´t finished the presentations. After the break we had physics and chemistry. In physics and chemistry we had a test and I believe that I am going to have good mark. At the last hour we had Technology in the workshop and we were giving problems on magnitudes and Jose Miguel said that we should take a box to keep the material of the work of the car.
On Wednesday in the first hour we had biology and we were revising because we have a text the next week. At third hour we had English and some pupils had to do the presentation of the work as Carla and Ariadna. In the break we had to play football. My team is Kevin, Borja, Saúl, Octavio, Jesus, Jeremi, Ale and me. We lost but I scored a goal. At the last hour we had French and French is one of the classes that I like because I had to go out to do a dialog with Yanira.
On Thursday we were, all the people of the Barça team, very satisfied because it had wan the Champions. In the first hour we had religion and we continued seeing the movie, Camino. In physics and chemistry we were waiting the marks but finally she didn´t give them. In the break we were speaking of the final of the Champions. In fifth hour there was Language and I liked because we were in the classroom 215. At the last hour we had English and we couldn´t do the presentations because the computer didn´t have Windows program.
Finally on Friday we didn´t do anything especial thing. I like tutorial because Jose Miguel gave to us a test that it was a tramp and we fell down in the tramp. Also I like because we did an activity that it was about auto esteem and we pass a paper to ourselves with the name of each one in order that the others were writing good commentaries of all.

Good bye Matt
Last Friday we had to say good bye to Matt, our English Assistant Teacher. It has been a pleasure having him in class during the year, and we wish him all the best for the future.
The good news are that he liked it so much here that he is going to come back in August :)

Hello guys and teachers,
I’m going to tell you about last week:
On Monday, on the second period, we had biology. Some pupils had to presentate their work like Pedro A. and Pedro M, about infertility, and Yanira and Nora about contraception methods.
After break, we had tutorial, and we talked with the teacher about the next course.
Finally, some pupils had alternative and others religion. I stayed in alternative and we were helping Luis. Some people were painting and I was hanging Canarian flags.
On Tuesday, on the first period we had P.E and we played football. It was funny and I scored two goals!
Then, we had free period because the English teacher didn’t come.
On Wednesday, on the first period, we had biology. Some pupils had to presentate their work like Laura and me, about AIDS, and Yanira and Nora, because they didn’t finish it on Monday. On the third period, we had English, and some pupils like Iliane, Pedro and Ariadna, had to presentate their work about their life.
After break, we had language, and some people of my class and me had an exam.
Then, we had geography, but we didn’t have a lesson. We did a court of living together. Jesús had a lot of negative points and Ely had a lot of positive points.
Finally, we didn’t have class. We had a talk about Nature.
On Thursday, we had only two first hours because we went to Las Palmas to see “La Celestina”, a theatre play. It was interesting but some boring.
On Friday, we had only third first hours.
On the third period, we had an exam and it was very difficult!!
After break, we had a festival for Nature with Canarian games…
Besides, it was Matt's last day at School. We were going to say goodbye to him and to give him a present.We will miss you Matt!!

I am going to remember you what we did this week
On Monday it was an Ordinary day because we didn’t take any exam. In the first period we had the half of the class Arts and we started the collage and the other half of the class had Classic Culture. At the second period we had biology. In the 3rd period we have maths. After the break we have tutory instead of technology and we speak about the options of the next year. In religion some people hope to see a film but we didn’t see it because we started to read the bible.
On Tuesday we were very nervous because at the second period we have an English exam but it was really easy and all the people pass it. The rest of the periods were ordinaries.
On Wednesday at the first period we went to the assembly and Iliane and me do the presentation of our work “Sexual Diseases “. At the second period we have maths and in the third period we have English and some people were very nervous because want to know if they passed the exam. At the last period we took the French Exam it was a little bite difficult but I think that all the people passed it.
On Thursday was the day of “The Photo” but we didn’t take it because the weather weren’t good. In religion we continue reading the bible and we do an activity about the travels of Saint Pablo. At the last period we do the Story of My live in English and it was very funny and we also do the presentation of the work of Jessica and Almudena. Congratulations it was very good!!!.And it was very funny.

Hi friends and teachers!
I am going to talk about the last week.
On Monday 27 we took a Geography test at 12:00 pm a lot of people passed this exam . In Religion, we watched a film IT IS THE BEST FILM. This film explains to us the society in 1957 in USA.
On Tuesday it was an ordinary day because there wasn´t any exam etc... At 1st lesson was P.E. , 2nd English,3rd Spanish,4th Physics&Chemistry,5th
Maths, 6thTechnology (we continue showing the web page).Kevin and I S. showed our web page `` History of Internet´´.
On Wednesday we had a Maths´ test ,in my class only three people passed this exam, Carla , Ithaisa and Ariadna .CONGRATULATIONS !!!!. But I didn`t pass this exam L.
On Thursday, it was an ordinary day too. But the students were very happy because there was small holiday but the teachers ordered homework. But the homework wasn´t a problem to enjoy our small holiday.

Let's remember something about last week.
On Monday some persons in Alternative were doing plays in the gym with Luis and It was the Raquel and Kevin's birthday ¡CONGRATULATIONS!
On Tuesday, we had got a kick-boxing lesson in Physical Education, because it was rainning. We started to present the works of the web page in the Technology lesson, too.
On Wednesday some people had got the exam of the book: " Las bicicletas son para el verano " in Spanish lesson.
On Thursday there weren't many people in class, because it was the institute's meeting. This meeting had a lot of discussion, because there were few people could go and everybody didn't agree.
Let's remember something about last week.

Hi! I`m Jose Carlos anD I`m Going to tell you what happened the week before easter.
That Monday all the 3Rd yer students went to Maspalomas Dunes and Guayadeque gorge.
We left the school at 8:30 and we returned at 2:00. The excursion was very very funny.
On Tuesday, it was a normal day, that is to say, we had all the lesson.
The first hour, we had P.E., therefore, we went to the playground and there we played basketball.
The second period, we had English and the teacher told us the marks.
The third period, we had Language.
The fourth period, we had P.C. and the teacher told us the marks.
The fifth period, we had Maths and the teacher ordset homeworks.
The last hour, we had technology and the teacher explained a work about a website.
On Wednesday, the cultural week started, they chose me to do the activity” Animación y deportes” and the following do “ juegos de ordenador” .
I did these activities until Friday, on this day people showed the results.

We were commenting on how the information can travel from one continent to another, and how is it possible to have undersea cables.
Here is a couple of pictures for you:

This Week!!
On Monday the teachers gave us the notes of Biology,Maths and science test.
The next day in tutory we did the ''tribunal de convivencia'' because we didn't have the drug lecture.
On Wednesday half of the class went to the laboratory to cut a kidney and saw it and the rest of the class stayed with Matt and did a game.Besides we took the physical education and physic and chemistry test.
On Thursday Chary gaves us the marks and Tere gave us the marks of the test.
On Friday we took the other test of physical education . This day we finished the exams!!

This week went by very fast for my, and I don’t understand why! We did some things in all of the subjects. In Technology we opened a computer to see it inside and the I.E.S. changed old computer to news computer from the technology room. In English we took an exam and we had a little argument because Feli was missing and the first group had class with Sergio and the second group., too. The Geography teacher told uss to do a map for the exam’s day. In the Arts class with Laly, we painted a DIN A3 sheet with colour paints. And with Mila, the lenguaje teacher, I had a big problem because I took next days' exam for studying it at home and I gave it to my classmates to do photocopies.
That is that I can write for this week!

Blu-ray Disc
Blu-ray Disc is an optical disc storage medium. Its main uses are high-definition video and data storage. The disc has the same physical dimensions as standard DVDs and CDs. The name Blu-ray Disc is derived from the blue laser (violet-colored) used to read and write to this type of disc. The first Blu-ray Disc player was perceived as expensive and buggy, and there were few titles available. This changed when PlayStation 3 launched, since every PS3 unit also functioned as a Blu-ray Disc player. Blu-ray Disc have layers and one each layers have got 25 GB.

Trip to the Pyrenees
Today is 11th January and I’m nervous because me and my friends are going to travel to the Pyrenees this afternoon. The travel lasts 3 hours, approximately, but I think that this is worth.When we arrived in Barcelona we travelled by bus to the Pyrenees. We first caught the skis and the boats in a French shop and after that we went to Queixans to ate our dinner, lasagne, at finally we went to the cabins. We’re going to tidy our things but I didn’t find my suitcase’s keys. I’ve to broke my suitcase!
I got up and I remember that I was in The Pyrenees and I was wearing like a diver. We ate our breakfast a delicious croissant. Daneira, Sheila, Alberto, Jose Carlos and me going in the other bus to the ski station. Alberto fell and knocked Monica, she went to the hospital and the people say that she broken her arm. We’ve lunch in the station and in the night we “ate” vegetables.
On the 13th I was furious because when I got up I found other keys and this open my suitcase’s padlock. I went with the 10 group with Martin to the ski class. At the afternoon I saw Jesus come up prohibited track. Jesús, Saúl, Efrén and me came up to this track and in the half Efrén fall and knock me. I come up walking and two “funny” Germans say me: “Can we help you?” I said yes and I realized I’m in front of a enormous mountain, the Germans said me caught my hand and when we start ski they push me and me roll. The teachers saw me but they thought that I was a machine. They punish the persons that this day skis in prohibited tracks.We after did ice skating where me fall, again.
Fourth day in the Pyrenees, I’m tired but me and my friends are eating the famous croissant. We went to the Masella; some people say that this station is the best. We ski all the day and in the afternoon we going to Puigcerda and buy a lot of things.
Three days to the return, We went to les Angles again, but I think that today is different because I think that Martin is going to include me in the 12 group but he call me “púas”, I didn’t understand this. Alberto and Sheila were punishing again because they didn’t take notice of the teachers. In the afternoon we were going to the termas. This night we’re going to do the “Pringles & Aquarius Operation”.
Last day to Ski, Alberto and Sheila couldn’t ski and they tried Knock Jose and me with snow balls, Pepa fell and had sprained her knee. In the afternoon we travelled to Barcelona by bus and saw some of the most importants places on Barcelona. In the night Jose shut himself in the bathroom and he couldn’t pen this it was only some minutes but when he went out, he is scared.
On the last day Pedro Alberto, Efrén, Pedro Manuel… got up with toothpaste in their face, the teachers are going to see the cams to find the guilty one. We going to the airport and came into the aeroplane, I think this was the final of a fantastic travel.

Fama
Fama is a TV program on four channel very interesting, a lot of people watch this program every days because it's very active. It consist in a group of girls and boys dancing, but they dance very good... every days many people talks about the program of the last day. In this school people dance streetdance, liric and funky.Girls and boys form couples, they rehearse a choreography and they exhibit it for the teachers, on Wednesday teachers choose the best. Every weeks two persons left the dance school, because six teachers ( dancers of course) choose the worst of all and then people who watch this program send a sms to save his favourite. In the class a lot of people watch this program and they like it because music and dance are very important.

The current AMD dual-core Athlon Processor has 154-233 Million transistor. An Intel Pentium D has 230 million transistors.
In the early 90's the pentium III had 100,000 - 10 million transistors.
In the early 80's the Intel 8086 had 5000-100,000 transistors.
And this is how the interior of a CPU looks like:
